Welcome Wellness
Welcome Wellness is a monthly program that explores health and wellness issues of interest to Somerville and surrounding communities. The program is funded in part through a grant from the Somerville Health Agenda, through the Cambridge Health Alliance.
The program is hosted and produced by Candy Leonard and directed by Bill Barrell at Somerville Community Access TV in Union Square, Somerville. Camera and audio work is done by SCAT member-volunteers.
Welcome Wellness airs on Somerville Cable Channel 3, Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at noon. It can also be seen on Cambridge Community Access TV (Channel 10) on Wednesday at 5:30.
Candy (Candice) Leonard is a PhD-level sociologist with an eclectic background in the academic, nonprofit, and business worlds. When she's not volunteering for community organizations in her beloved Somerville, she's a qualitative research consultant.
